- Does T-Lon direct ship to a third party?
Yes, but we do require a separate $50.00 order with just the items to direct ship.
- What is T-Lon's return policy?
On returned goods valued at $150.00 or less, there is a flat
$25.00 restocking charge. For goods valued over $150.00, a 30% restocking
charge will apply.
An RGA number must accompany all returned goods.
- Does T-Lon provide samples?
T-Lon will provide samples for testing and evaluation purposes for prototypes.
- Does T-Lon have order minimums?
We have a $10.00 line item minimum and a $50.00 total order minimum. If we specially
machine a part, we require that the customer take a billets worth as the minimum quantity.
This is billed as a lot charge rather than a per piece price.
- On your standard square and rectangular rings, what is the difference between
the gold and the blue material and is there a price difference?
The gold is a 15% glass fill and the blue is a 25% glass fill. The pricing is the
same for both unless we normally do not stock the item in blue. All dimensions
are the same.
- What is your standard lead time?
If parts are not in stock we do require a 4 to 6 week lead time. We are able to
provide billets in a two week period.
- Will T-Lon accept blanket orders and what policies apply on them?
We are happy to accept a blanket order to obtain the best possible pricing and
delivery for you. Depending on the quantity we will set up releases on an
annual basis.
- Does T-Lon provide expanders for the PTFE seals?
We do provide o-rings and loaders for most of our standard parts. We are able
to quote on most custom parts if o-rings or loaders are needed. There is a separate
charge for expanders which may be found on our price lists. Please specify
on your order if an expander is required.
- Does T-Lon offer a stocking program?
We will stock custom parts with an agreement worked up on an individual basis. If
your company has a planned shipping schedule, we may also work off of that.
- Will T-Lon ship on the same day that the order is placed?
We will ship the same day as long as the order is placed before 10:00 A.M. This
allows our shipping personel to have ample time to get shipments ready.
- Does T-Lon have an expedited delivery charge?
We do offer an expedited delivery if possible. This amount is figured on an individual
basis. We do try to avoid having to charge an additional fee in most cases.
- When is payment required on partial tooling charges?
Partial tooling will be billed on the first shipment of the order, either with
samples or the first release.
- Are there other materials available on the PTFE wear strip other than bronze?
We do provide a variety of other materials that are quoted on an individual basis.
